This is a ticker that represents how long I've known my DH2B. We met on June 18, 2007.
I think it was love at first sight for him. Took me a little long to acknowledge what I was feeling because things happened rather rapidly :c)

An Introduction
Just call me Xsyntriq. I'm almost ::coughHACKwheeze:: out of my thirties and I live in Hampton Roads, VA.
It occurred to me as I was searching for info for someone else that I'll be tying the knot sometime next year myself (uhm, WOW!) and I need to get started on stuff for my own wedding.
We don't have a date selected as yet and I don't have a theme (although, I'd love a beach-theme and both of us do love the beach). Colors would be something beachy/tropical. I don't know exactly where we're going to do this but it will be somewhere here in Hampton Roads - Newport News, Williamsburg, or Hampton are the likely cities.
Lord a mercy - so many DIY projects to think about. Invitations, programs, flowers, decorations for the ceremony and the reception, cake decorations, favors!
It's only been the past couple of years that I discovered my liking for doing crafts so for me to even contemplate DIY for my wedding is a HUGE undertaking. Honestly, I don't even know where to start.
I opened this blog to have a central place to post interesting things I find online about planning a wedding, getting married, being married, etc. I'll also use this blog to vent about things I cannot change but must accept and deal with.
